So today’s the last day of ‘Thirty Days of Thanks.’ I thought a lot of what to be thankful for on this last day of posting about it.
Each day i went to post, I struggled with what I was most thankful for.
So for my last day of posting thanks, I am thankful that each day I had much to be thankful for. Every time I went to post something I was thankful for, I had many things to choose from. Like my husband and the wonderful things he does for me each day. My family for blessing me with laughter and support. Or my friends, who are always there for me. Or my students for inspiring me to be a better person every day. Or all the small blessings I encounter along the way.
Regardless, each day everyone has something to be thankful for. Remember that even in your darkest hour. We ALWAYS have something to be thankful for. Even if it’s only for the air we breathe or the ground we have to walk- or fall- on. It’s something. And I know that some people dread this time of year- remember you are not alone. You too have much to be thankful for too.
Today I was really thankful to have the day off. While everyone was running around making fools of themselves at Walmart, I went and got a massage. Got take out, put up the Christmas decorations, and went to bed at 9PM!!!! It was glorious!
400 years ago a small group of people risked starvation and freezing to death with no relief in sight for a better life. Fast forward to today, and we definitely have that. Fortunately these people are my ancestors.
I woke up this morning, watched the parade over coffee and thought of my grandmother when the rockets came on. It made me remember how much she loved the parade, and looked forward to watching it with her grandchildren.
Today is also the day my grandfather would have turned 100.
At dinner, I thought of all the memories we shared with the loved ones who are no longer with us.
So today, on this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the loved ones who I am lucky enough to spend my life with each day. My rocks. My family.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
It’s hard to believe I’ve almost reached the end of this 30 days of thanks!!! WOW!
Today I am thankful for Shoprite. Just by purchasing my groceries every week, I was able to score a free turkey, which I plan to donate to one of my students’ families.
Simply put- today I am thankful to have had nothing to do!!!!
Today is a tough one. I’m waaaaayyyyy tired and in a super bad mood today. Ironically as crappy as I felt, everyone decided today was the day that my 20 lb. weight loss is noticeable. So I guess I’m thankful for all the people who in-advertally cheered me up by noticing some hard work!!!!
Day 16- I am thankful for family. Both blood and family by association.
Day 17- I am thankful for the business my husband and I are starting. We had a very successful shoot today, great feedback on another and looking forward to the future!!!! When you live your passion, it’s hard to think it can be a reality, and when that reality starts to pop through…it’s really quite exciting.
Good day today!
I writing this on day 16, but yesterday I had much to be thankful for.
I am most thankful for my colleagues. Especially the amazing people/friends I have the honor to work with on the school musical. It’s nice to know that we have each other’s back, can laugh at ourselves and make tough decisions after EXTREMELY long hours. I am one lucky girl to have these people in my lives…
Today I am thankful for my TEAM family. They support me and believe in my abilities to be a good leader! I’m honored to know such people.
Today I am thankful for my right as an American to vote.
I’ve waited 4 years to to press that button. That’s the only way I could get back at Jerk Chris Christie for all the lies and bullying he’s done.
